How the program enforces it

Mint follows deposit. Rewards accrue from USDC the keeper has already deposited, and every division rounds down, so claims can never exceed the reserve.
Withdrawals follow burns. withdraw_reserve refuses any amount above what activations have burned. Unactivated CREDIT keeps its dollar in the vault.
Exits stay open. Pausing blocks staking, claiming and activation; unstaking always works.

Anthropic SDK? The gateway speaks the OpenAI Chat Completions format only, so use an OpenAI-compatible client for Claude models.

Who pays for the discount?

From trading fees, not from Synaps. Every SYNAPS trade on Meteora pays a fee; the protocol's share goes into a USDC reserve, and stakers receive CREDIT against it. Stakers who would rather have cash now sell CREDIT below $1, and that spread is your discount. When trading slows, fewer CREDIT are minted and the book gets thinner, but each one still buys $1 of usage.

Will my request run on the exact model I name?

Yes. The gateway forwards your request to the model id you send, through an OpenAI-compatible upstream (OpenRouter by default). Synaps does not swap models, rewrite prompts or truncate context. You pay the provider's list price per token, settled from your balance.

Who sees my prompts and completions?

Upstream requests are routed only to providers with zero data retention, so they do not store or train on your prompts and completions. Synaps keeps the metadata needed for billing and your usage dashboard: model, token counts, cost and latency.

Can I cash out my balance or CREDIT?

No. Activated balance is not redeemable for cash and cannot be transferred. CREDIT you have not activated yet is an ordinary token in your wallet: you can hold it or sell it on the market, but Synaps does not buy it back.

What backs CREDIT?

USDC in the program's reserve vault. CREDIT is only minted against deposits that already happened, and the team can withdraw reserve USDC only up to the amount of CREDIT already burned by activations. Both rules are enforced on-chain.

Which wallets work?

Any Solana wallet that supports Wallet Standard, including Phantom, Solflare and Backpack. Creating an API key needs a wallet that can sign messages; most hardware-wallet setups cannot yet.
